This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit techandlimon.com, use websites we build for clients, contact us for services, or use software products we publish — and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

Tech and Limon provides custom web development, design, and related digital services through our website. We also build and operate our own software products.

Our products include mobile and web applications published under the Tech and Limon name. Today that includes:

Some apps may appear on the App Store or Google Play under the individual developer account of Ricardo Perez. Tech and Limon remains the trade name under which those products and their related services are offered.

Account and content data for our products (such as Zona) are stored on servers operated by Tech and Limon. Passwords are hashed. API access uses token-based authentication over HTTPS where applicable.

7. Mobile applications — Zona

App-specific details for Zona are also published at techandlimon.com/zona/privacy (for App Store and Google Play listings).

Zona (iOS and Android, bundle ID com.techandlimon.zona) is a personal place-and-event journal. The app may appear on app stores under the individual developer account of Ricardo Perez. Tech and Limon is the trade name (DBA) under which Zona and its related services are offered.

Account information

When you create a Zona account, we collect your email address and password (stored securely on our servers). We may store a display name if you provide one.

Location data

With your permission, Zona uses your device location to show your position on the map and to help you drop pins at places you visit. Location access is optional and controlled through your device settings.

Content you create

We store the places, events, addresses, and categories you save in the app. This content is tied to your account and is not shared publicly through Zona.

Technical data

We may collect standard server logs (IP address, request timestamps, app version) to operate and secure the Zona API.

How we use Zona data

  • Provide and maintain your account and saved data
  • Sync your places and events across sessions
  • Improve reliability and fix bugs
  • Respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal information.

Retention and your choices

We retain your Zona account and content until you delete it or request account deletion. You may delete individual places and events in the app.

  • Location: Enable or disable in iOS or Android system settings
  • Account deletion: Profile → Delete account in the app (permanent), or email support@techandlimon.com
  • Sign out: Clears the local session token on your device

Children's privacy

Zona is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Changes to our privacy policy

It is our policy to post any changes we make to our privacy policy on this page. If we make material changes to how we treat users' personal information, we will notify you through a notice on the website home page. Product-specific pages such as Zona's privacy policy will show an updated effective date when changed.
